Mr. Eddie Pitt, Sr. is a Native North Carolinian, born in Princeville North Carolina, the first town incorporated in the United States of America by freed slaves. Married to a wonderful God sent woman Kimberly, with 4 sons.
His educational career began as a graduate of Tarboro Senior High School, Tarboro, North Carolina, Chris Hartley Academy of Sales & Marketing, Denver, Colorado and S.C.I. Management Institute Houston, Texas.
His drive and ambition led to becoming President/ CEO of Prestige Service Associates, Landover, Maryland; Regional Vice President of Service Corporation International, Maryland ; Vice president of Sales & Marketing , Dutchman Corporation, Peoria , Illinois and President CEO - Genesis Projects LLC, Baltimore, Maryland.
His love of crowd performance interactions opened the doors to become a Quartet Singer with the Christian Aires of Baltimore, Maryland and Motivational Speaker. Member of the NAACP.
Redirecting his employment to the funeral industry, Eddie entered the marketing arena by gaining a position with Richard Pearl Marketing Prerequisites, Boulder, Colorado.
Seeking the dream of self-employment by combining all his employment skills, Eddie envisioned the death care industry to be his calling. This lead to his appointment to the Professional Death care Sales Advisory Board, Wall Street N.Y. and Pasturing the Christ Disciples Ministries, Baltimore, Maryland. During his Travels, he became Chairman, Youth Mentor Program Administrator, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Presenter/Educator at the National Funeral Directors Morticians Association, Illinois Selected Funeral Association.
Expanding his horizon in resolving and creating viable solutions to financial conflict in the funeral industry, he became a financial analyst for Client Resource Analyst and C&J Financial, Rainbow City, Alabama. Being a visionary, Eddie settled on becoming President/ CEO - Cooper Professional Funerals and later, President /CEO, Cooper Professionals, LLC Chicago, Illinois f/n/a Cooper Professional Family Services LLC,. A member of Roads Inc., Funeral Professional Fraternity, his vision, as Organizer of The Commander Initiative, has come to fruition.
